Accidental Saint: The Passion Of Pastor Nadia Bolz-Weber (All Together Podcast)

F-Bombs included.

Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber doesn’t fit with the stereotypical milquetoast image of the Lutheran pastor. With the tattoo sleeves and the f-bombs in her speech, her vibe is more rock and roll than clergy.

Yet, Pastor Nadia is one of the most important Christian voices around -- not because she has come up with some catchy, easy new way to do faith, but because when she talks about the destructive power of sin, as well as redemption and grace, she knows of what she speaks.

On this week’s All Together, we are talking to Pastor Nadia, who is the founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, Colorado. She is the author of the recently released Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People. She joined me in the studio at The Huffington Post, and couldn’t resist a quick stint in a shark costume hanging up near by.

And just a warning: Pastor Nadia does drop the f-bomb more than once in this interview. However, for those who want to hear a conversation about faith that is grounded in the conflicted, paradoxical, sinful, grace-filled world in which we live: you are in for a treat.

All Together is produced by Katelyn Boguki and the sound engineer is Brad Shannon. You can download All Together on iTunes, or Stitcher.
