Al Franken Reads Mean Tweets About His Support For Hillary Clinton

"Boooooooo!"

Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) took a cue from Jimmy Kimmel, reading mean tweets he's gotten about his support for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in a video posted by her campaign.

Franken, who was a cast member on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" prior to his time in the U.S. Senate, has been tweeting his support for Clinton in the lead-up to the Minnesota caucus.

In the video, Franken responds to criticisms about Clinton's campaign and, uh, "Mad TV."

"'Mad TV sucked,'" Franken read. "OK, I'm gonna say that was a joke."

Franken also jokes about the "establishment matrix" and talks about his work with both Clinton and her rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
