CNN has renewed Anthony Bourdain's show "Parts Unknown" for a third season, the network announced Monday.

In a statement announcing the news, CNN president Jeff Zucker called the show "a consistent ratings and critical success." He said that the series surpassed the "high expectations" the network had when it first launched back in April.

The upcoming season, which debuts in spring 2014, will feature visits to Brazil, Las Vegas, and an African safari. The series debuted this spring, and was almost immediately renewed for a second season, which started in September.
