Apple Announcement LIVE: Updates From Apple's WWDC 2010 Event

Apple is expected to unveil a new iPhone today at the company's annual software developers conference, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2010) in San Jose, California.

In the past, CEO Steve Jobs has used the WWDC keynote address to unveil other generations of the iPhone. There has been no confirmation from Apple, but bloggers are speculating that the unofficially dubbed 'iPhone 4g' (aka 'iPhone HD') will be the toast of today's conference.

But that's not all we can expect from WWDC 2010. PCWorld speculates Apple announcements could include: the next version of the Safari Web browser, a MAC OS X update, the iPhone Game Center, iChat for iPhone, and a multitouch trackpad.

The conference will kick off around 10 A.M. PST. Want to follow Apple's announcement live?

We'll be hosting a live blog, along with Twitter updates from tech journalists and blogs, here. MacRumors, The Apple Blog, CNET, Engadget, MacWorld, and gdgt will be among the sites hosting WWDC 2010 live blogs.
