Apple Event: How To Follow Apple's 'Let's Talk iPhone' Announcements LIVE

How To Follow Apple's iPhone Event LIVE

Apple's iPhone event kicks off Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) in Cupertino, California, and speculation about what will happen there is rampant. (Check out PC Magazine's infographic detailing the rise and fall of the year's many iPhone 5 rumors.)

Apple's new CEO Tim Cook is expected to take the stage for his first major product launch since taking over for Steve Jobs in August. During the event's keynote, the curtain may rise on Apple's new line of iPhones. Rumor has it that Apple could unveil two handsets, an iPhone 5 and a lower cost version of the iPhone 4 (unofficially) called the iPhone 4S, which may retail for as low as $99. The iPhone 5 is rumored to feature a more powerful rear-facing camera, a slimmer body with a teardrop shape, a faster processor, redesigned home button and a wider screen, among other rumored specs.

There will also likely be an updated iOS 5 mobile operating system which is rumored to include better voice command capabilities, a new way to stalk your friends, and wireless mirroring, which allows you to view your phone screen on your TV or computer.

Tuesday's event may also see the official death-date of the iPod Classic and iPod Shuffle.

Whatever happens, we're hoping to see at least one new iPhone, and you aren't going to want to miss it.
