Apple Event LIVE VIDEO: Streaming Of September 2010 Press Conference Available

Apple To Live Stream Today's Event--How To Watch

Those hoping to follow Apple's September 1 press conference as it happens should be pleased to learn that the company will be offering live video streaming of its upcoming event.

Not everyone can view the stream, however: Apple noted in a press release that "viewing requires either a Mac® running Safari® on Mac OS® X version 10.6 Snow Leopard®, an iPhone® or iPod touch® running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad™."

Live video streaming of the Apple event will begin at 10AM PT at Apple.com. (
Check if you can see the stream using this HTTP Live sample stream.)

Even if you don't have a compatible Apple device, you can still follow Apple's announcement in (near) real-time as numerous sites will be live blogging Apple's event. You can get live updates from Engadget, Ars Technica, ZDNet, GDGT, and CNET, among other sites.
