Ariana Grande Sends Emotional Thank-You To Fans As European Tour Ends

The singer posted a heartfelt message on Instagram nearly a month after the terror attack at her Manchester show.

Ariana Grande reminded everyone of her close relationship with her fans with a sweet Instagram post Sunday night.

The 23-year-old pop singer ended the European leg of her world tour after several emotional weeks. Grande initially postponed the tour after a terror attack at her Manchester show on May 22, canceling scheduled dates in London’s O2 arena and in Switzerland through June 5. She later kickstarted her performances again by headlining a Manchester benefit concert intended to raise funds for the victims of the attack and their families.

Grande took a moment to thank fans for helping her through the tumultuous time.

“Spending this time with you this month has been so very healing and special!,” the singer wrote in her post. “Thank you for being here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity in supporting One Love Manchester and for helping the families as much as you possibly could.”

The city of Manchester has put Grande up for an honorary citizenship because of her response following the tragedy at her concert. Between the benefit concert, merchandise and other donations, Grande raised $13 million for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. The singer encouraged all her fans to support each other and spread love in the face of violence.

“Thank you for bringing your absolute brightest, most passionate, contagious energy to these shows and for wiping my tears away,” Grande wrote. “I’m immensely grateful!!!! I hope you can feel my love, wherever you are because I’m sending you all that I’ve got.”

Grande begins her Latin American performances on June 29 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, before moving on to Asia in August.
