Help Find Zoe Campos, Donna Jou And Other Missing People

An intensive search is underway in Lubbock, Texas, for 18-year-old Zoe Campos. According to Myhighplains.com, Campos was last seen on Nov. 17. Four days later, a family member spotted an unidentified individual driving her silver 1997 Lincoln Town Car. The family member followed the vehicle to an apartment complex, where the person abandoned the car and took off on foot, police said. During a Monday morning press conference, police said they are concerned for the teenagers safety. They also changed her status from "missing" to "missing and endangered." Christina Herrera, 13, of Visalia, Calif., was last seen on Nov. 29. The teen was originally reported missing on Nov. 19, when she reportedly ran away from her guardian at a local Walmart. The girl was located on Nov. 29, but took off again the following day, police said. Authorities said they are concerned because the teen requires a prescription medication, which she does not have with her. Herrera is described as 116 pounds and 5 feet 1 inches tall. Kyle Mosher vanished without a trace on July 20. The 28-year-old from Cadillac, Mich., was apparently driving a pickup truck that got stuck in the woods in Kalkaska County. Where Mosher went from there is not yet known. Mosher's dog, a brindle-colored pit bull that was with him the day he disappeared, was found on Aug. 16, roughly three miles from where Mosher was last seen. Authorities said the dog was in poor health when it was found and required treatment at a local animal shelter. Mosher is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and has green eyes, short brown hair, a goatee, and a tattoo of the name "Layla" on his neck. The disappearance of Alexis Murphy has authorities in Virginia working overtime to locate the missing teen. The 17-year-old student at Nelson County High School in Lovingston vanished on Aug. 3. Family members said the teen was en route to Lynchburg when she disappeared. Authorities later found Murphy's 2003 Nissan Maxima abandoned in the parking lot of a movie theater. Officials with the Nelson County Sheriff's Office who are investigating Murphy's disappearance, said they have surveillance video from a Lovingston gas station that shows Murphy enter the station at about 7:15 that night. Randy Taylor, 48, also was allegedly spotted in the video footage. What happened to the teenager after that remains a mystery. Authorities have since charged Taylor in connection with the disappearance of Murphy. In August, Orange County commonwealth's attorney Diane Wheeler told The Huffington Post that Taylor is also a "person of interest" in the disappearance of Samantha Clarke, a 19-year-old who disappeared on Sept. 13, 2010. Clarke, whose home is in Orange County, disappeared when she went out for the evening. The investigation into both cases is ongoing. Alexis Murphy is described as an African American female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 156 pounds, with green eyes and blond hair. She was last seen wearing a pink blouse, floral spandex pants and brown boots. She was carrying a gray purse. October 10 was the last time family members saw 30-year-old Latasha Nevitt, of Chicago, Ill. According to Blackandmissing.org, the missing mother of three's husband told police she left their home in the 1300 block of West 107th Street, to walk to the food mart on 112th street, east of Vincennes. For reasons not yet known, Nevitt's husband did not report her missing until Oct. 14. Family members told police it is out of character for Nevitt, who is attending Everest University for a degree in dental hygiene, to take off without notifying someone. She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 118 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chicago police at (312) 747-8274. Have you seen Kelsie Schelling? The 21-year-old from Denver, Colo., has been missing since Feb. 4. The young woman disappeared after traveling to Pueblo to meet with her boyfriend, Donthe Lucas. In a letter sent to Denver's 7News, Schelling's aunt, Beth Saxton, said Schelling had informed her boyfriend that she was 8-weeks pregnant on the day she disappeared. Police said cellphone records confirm Schelling made it to Pueblo, but what happened to her once she arrived is unknown. On Feb. 14, police found Schelling's vehicle abandoned at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. Video surveillance indicates the car was parked at the hospital, by an unidentified man, on Feb. 7. Investigators have not yet released the video to the media. Kelsie Schelling is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has several tattoos, including a Chinese symbol on back of neck, cursive writing on inside of her left arm, an ancient key on her left chest and a fleur-de-lis along her right rib cage. According to the "Help Find Kelsie" website, a 50,000 reward is being offered for information that can lead authorities to her whereabouts. The disappearance of Breya Shelton has stumped authorities in Detroit, Mich. According to Missingpersonsofamerica.com, the 12-year-old was last seen on Dec. 2, riding a bus home from school. No additional details on her disappearance have been released. Shelton is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 160 pounds. She has dark hair and brown eyes. The young girl was last seen wearing a black and white skirt, a white shirt and a pink jacket. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at (313) 596-5240.

The City of Bloomington, Ill., reports that police are trying to locate Tiffany Snook. The 17-year-old was last heard from on Nov. 12. Authorities said the missing teen may be in the company of an older male whose identity is unknown. Snook is described as 120 pounds and 5 feet 3 inches tall. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. Twenty-one-year-old Ricky Spindler, of Downers Grove, Ill., was last seen on Nov. 15. According to police, Spindler was returning home after a visit with his father in Munster, Ind., when he disappeared. On Nov. 17, authorities found Spindler's 2013 Hyundai at a forest preserve in Grant Park, Ill. Spindler's cellphone was found inside the vehicle, police said. The missing man is described as 145 pounds and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He has brown eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information is asked to call the Munster Police Department at (219) 836-6632. James Wesley Blackwell’s family members are baffeled by his sudden and unexplained disappearance. The 58-year-old resident of Apison, Tenn., was last seen at a local bank on the morning of Nov. 18. Blackwell’s girlfriend reported him missing the following day. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, all attempts to locate Blackwell have been unsuccessful. The missing man's truck – the vehicle he is believed to have been driving when he went to the bank – was found parked at his residence. In the days following Blackwell's disappearance, searches were conducted in the area surrounding his home. What, if anything, authorities found during those searches is not yet known. James Blackwell is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 155 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He has a tattoo of a cartoon devil on his left thigh. Donna Jou, of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., has been missing since June 23, 2007. According to family members, they last saw Jou when she left to attend a house party in Santa Monica. Later that night, she called a friend in San Diego and said a man at the party was bothering her and making her feel uncomfortable. When Jou was reported missing, police looked at the files on her computer and determined she had been corresponding with a man named John Steven Burgess, aka Sinjin Stevens. Burgress is a sex offender who had been convicted of performing a lewd act against a child. Burgress told police Jou died of an accidental drug overdose at a party the night she vanished. He told them he rented a boat and dumped her body far off the southern California shore a day or two after her death. Burgess pleaded guilty in May 2009 to involuntary manslaughter and a misdemeanor count of concealment of an accidental death involving the disappearance of Jou. He served roughly half of his five-year term and was released in December 2011. Authorities have never located Jou's body. Her family has been vocal about their disbelief that Burgress dumped Jou at sea. At the time of her disappearance, Donna Jou was 19 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
