The inspiration: The collection was based on a mixture of fluidity and structure. The beauty backstage echoed that same sentiment.

Makeup: Tom Pecheux's vision: "Very bare. Very nude. Very delicate." The focus was mostly on the eyes: With his fingers, Pecheux applied a creamy metallic eyeshadow (MAC's Metal-X cream shadow in Fusion Gold--available next spring) all around the eye (upper lids and beneath the lower lids), extending it to the cheek and brow bones. He added warm peach blush to the lower cheeks, creating a contour-like effect. Pecheux then blotted on MAC Lipstick in Innocence Beware giving the models a very nude, pinkish lip.

Hair: "We wanted something structured, but also loose -- with lots of texture and flyaways," says lead hairstylist Orlando Pita. He started by spraying in 1976 Haircare Workable Spray, then tied the models' hair back into ponytails. With a boar bristle brush, Pita created wispy strands at the crown -- finishing the look with a spritz of Hold It Spray.

Nails: Manicurist Jin Soon Choi teamed up with Zoya to give the models a natural-looking, skin tone-colored nail. "We only applied one coat of the taupey-beige shade, Helen. We wanted a very natural, elongated nail. Like the color of skin. Like a lot of the clothes -- nude, beige, white -- but a little more," says Choi.
