Dr. Dre, Interscope Records' Jimmy Iovine, and Monster Cable CEO Noel Lee (aka "Head Monster") unveiled five new products coming to their Beats by Dr. Dre line at a star-studded event held Wednesday at New York's Best Buy Theater.

The Huffington Post's Bianca Bosker had a chance to sit down with Dre, Iovine, and Lee at the launch event to discuss their new products, Twitter (neither Dre nor Iovine use it), their favorite way to listen to music, and the techies they admire most.

What makes Beats by Dr. Dre special, in five words or less? "Hear it the way I hear it," Dre explained (he conceded he'd added a few words). "To make sound really matter," Iovine said.

Iovine discussed his inspiration for the product line: "This is about taking the digital revolution [...] and making music sound right again because it got completely destroyed in the digital era. That's what this is about."

The new Beats by Dr. Dre gadgets include performance sports earbuds endorsed by LeBron James (PowerBeats, $170), as well as purple over-ear and in-ear headphones, JustBeats, endorsed by Justin Bieber (the headphones run $200, while the earphones cost $120). The music greats also showed off their first non-headphone product, the Beatbox iPod dock ($450), as well as the BeatsPro headphones ($450) targeted at professional musicians and DJs. Beats by Dr Dre is also launching its least expensive earbuds to-date: the $120 iBeats.
