Beauty Street Style: Alexis Badiyi, Helmut Lang Asst. Manager, Loves Cheap, Yet Quality Beauty Products

This Helmut Lang Asst. Manager Is A Pro At Finding Cheap, Yet Quality Beauty Products

In our Beauty Street Style series, we find inspiring women around New York City and get the secrets to their routine, including less-than-conventional methods, then shop out their look.

This week we met Alexis, an assistant manager at Helmut Lang, who knows how to find inexpensive, but hard-working beauty products. Her slick eyeliner is from the drugstore. "It's really good, and it's like a dollar!" And her glowy skin is thanks to an $8 seemingly never-ending tub of powdery clay. "I really like the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay to that you can find at Whole Foods. You just add apple cider vinegar and mix it up." (We hadn't heard of this stuff until she mentioned it. We've since checked it out, and now we're obsessed. It literally shrinks pores.) See the rest of her beauty essentials below.
