Yesterday we posted the top ten list of Illinois cities with the highest unemployment rates in December. All of those cities are way above the statewide unemployment rate of 8.6 percent, meaning there has to be some good cities in Illinois for unemployment.

There are if you look to Chicago's west, northwest and north suburbs. That's the location of the cities on our top ten list of best unemployment rates in Illinois.

As with November, north suburban neighbors Glenview and Northbrook take the top two spots, and all the cities have unemployment rates under six percent.
