The Best Supporting Actress nominees at the 85th annual Academy Awards include Anne Hathaway and Sally Field.

Hathaway was nominated for playing Fantine in "Les Miserables." The performance is expected to win the actress her first Oscar; she was nominated once before, in the Best Actress category, for "Rachel Getting Married."

Field earned her Oscar nomination for playing Mary Todd Lincoln in "Lincoln." She's won two Oscars in her career -- both in the Best Actress category. Her last victory came in 1985 for the film "Places in the Heart."

Field and Hathaway are joined in the Best Supporting Actress category by Helen Hunt ("The Sessions"), Amy Adams ("The Master") and Jacki Weaver ("Silver Linings Playbook").

Last year, Octavia Spencer won Best Supporting Actress. The star of "The Help" defeated Jessica Chastain, Janet McTeer, Melissa McCarthy and Berenice Bejo for the award.
