'Beware The Batman' On Cartoon Network: The Dark Knight's New Animated Series (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE: First Look At 'Beware The Batman'

"Beware the Batman" is the latest animated series from Cartoon Network to bring the adventures of the Dark Knight to the small screen, this time with a slick CGI makeover and an updated rogues' gallery, including both familiar antagonists and newer villains that have never been seen in animated form before.

The Huffington Post has an exclusive preview of the series' first full-length teaser trailer -- featuring all new footage that highlights the Caped Crusader's showdowns with Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie.

This iteration of Batman is voiced by "Banshee's" Anthony Ruivivar, with JB Blanc as ex-secret agent Alfred Pennyworth and Sumalee Montano as lethal swordswoman Katana, both of whom will lend Batman backup. Giving voice to the villains are Wallace Langham as Anarky, Grey DeLisle as Magpie, Udo Kier as Mr. Toad, Lance Reddick as Ra’s al Ghul and Brian George as Professor Pyg. Warner Bros. Animation's Sam Register serves as executive producer, with Glen Murakami ("Batman Beyond") and Mitch Watson ("Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc.") producing.

The show's "dark-deco"-esque design is undeniably reminiscent of the critically acclaimed "Batman: The Animated Series" which debuted in 1992 and starred Kevin Conroy in the titular role. Since then, the character has appeared in animated series as diverse as "Batman Beyond" and "Justice League" to more recent entries such as "The Batman" and "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," with cameos in "Young Justice" and "Teen Titans Go!"

"Beware the Batman" premieres Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. ET, followed by "Teen Titans Go!" as part of Cartoon Network's DC Nation programming block. All new animated shorts will accompany the two series.
