We're excited to be coming to Manhattan in a few days for a really cool fundraiser on June 5th, the T.J. Martell Foundation's 12th Annual Family Day, which has raised over $3.5 million since its start. The carnival raises money for cancer and AIDS research, which we're proud to support. We've all been touched by cancer and it feels good to be doing something about it, especially at such a fun event.

The T.J. Martell Foundation was created in loving memory of a teenage boy just like us. He died of leukemia and made his father promise him before he died that he'd raise one million dollars for cancer research so that other kids wouldn't have to go through what he was experiencing. Well, his father went above and beyond that promise -- Tony Martell has provided over $250 million in the past 36 years, and shows no sign of slowing down. But they need our help to keep fulfilling their mission, and that's why we're proud to be honored at Family Day.

The foundation supports eleven top hospitals across the country, like Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, Harvard in Boston, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. So chances are there's a hospital near you where doctors are conducting life-saving research thanks to the T.J. Martell Foundation.

They get over 1,000 people together at Roseland Ballroom every spring for Family Day, and this year's event is on June 5th. We're in good company since last year's honorees were Jonas Brothers -- that event raised over $750,000 in one day!

We're performing and being honored with our management team, Ozone Management, for our involvement in lots of great causes like City of Hope, Camp Ronald, Padres Contra el Cancer, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

This year we'll also have special guests We The Kings, Allstar Weekend and The Ready Set giving performances. This fun afternoon will feature carnival games and amazing, one-of-a-kind celebrity auction items.

Over the years, Family Day has brought together a "who's who" of music and entertainment executives along with music artists and celebrities including John Mayer, Rob Thomas, Jay-Z, Jordan Sparks and Jesse McCartney. We're excited to join their ranks and keep the foundation's roots in the industry strong! After all, Tony Martell was joined 36 years ago by many of his musician friends like Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington to hold a fundraiser at Buddy Rich's nightclub in New York. They raised $50,000 and the T.J. Martell Foundation was born.

The T.J. Martell Foundation is now the music industry's largest foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. They support early-stage research projects aimed at developing more effective clinical treatments for patients which otherwise might not be funded. So we're proud to be joining them at Family Day to fulfill this mission.
