'Blood, Lies & Alibis': Father Suspects Son-In-Law Killed Daughter

Frank Martin knew all along, trusting his instincts and biding his time until the evidence would back him up. On "Blood, Lies & Alibis" (Mon., 9 p.m. ET on ID), viewers saw -- via re-enactments -- the true story of his daughter's murder.

Kathy was brutally stabbed and killed, and Martin suspected his son-in-law, Greg, was the culprit. Greg had allegedly made advances toward Kathy and been rebuffed. Scorned, he lashed out and killed her. Unfortunately, police couldn't gather the evidence necessary to convict him.

So Frank hired his brother-in-law to work at his sign company, thinking it better to keep his enemies where he could keep an eye on them. The plan worked, as advancements in DNA technology finally got Greg arrested in 2002. Two years later, he plead guilty to murdering Kathy and spent the rest of his life in prison, dying from liver disease in 2008.

True crime stories unravel every Monday on "Blood, Lies & Alibis" at 9 p.m. ET on ID.
