The Texas Rangers have reached their first World Series in franchise history and one fan has done everything he could do to see it, even if that meant quitting his job.

Boris Briskin, a longtime Rangers fan, quit his job at a law firm in Los Angeles to go see his team make it to the World Series, according to Fox 4 News.

"If I wasn't here right now I would definitely be at work. And if the Rangers weren't in the playoffs I would not be in Dallas right now," he said. "It's the Rangers. I've loved the Rangers for so long. They haven't been to the playoffs since '99. They've gone through so much since then. I really couldn't miss this."

Briskin also said he is confident he will find another job. Scroll down to watch the video.
