Boulder Woman Wakes Up To Find Intruder's Hands In Her Underwear

A college-aged woman in Boulder woke up early Thursday morning with a man's hands in her underwear, and those hands didn't belong to her boyfriend who was sleeping besides her.

She initially thought it was her boyfriend, but then screamed when she realized it was an intruder and pushed the man's arm away, according to Boulder Police Spokeswoman Sarah Huntley. Her screaming woke up her boyfriend who chased the intruder out of the apartment.

According to Boulder Police, a man, described as white or light-skinned Hispanic in his early 20's with average height and build, broke into an apartment in the 1800 block of 22nd Street through an unlocked door.

The Boulder Police Department warned citizens to lock their doors and windows, even when they are home, leave lights on so it is clear people are home, and close shades, blinds and curtains after dark so people outside the home can't see in.

The CU Independent quotes Huntley: "We have a very limited description of the suspect, but we are working on getting a composite sketch," Huntley said.
