Bronx Residents Without Electricity For Five Days After Weekend Storm While Con Edison Struggles To Restore Power

Hundreds of Bronx residents remained without electricity Wednesday, five days after a nasty nor'easter battered the borough.

Con Edison said that it began the day with 700 Bronxites still in the dark and another 24,000 in Westchester needing their power restored. The utility said it expected to have power restored to all Bronx residents by day's end.
