Bruce Springsteen Turns 63!

The Boss is 63. But the legendary rocker, proudly from New Jersey, has shown throughout his 40-plus-year career that Rock And Roll has no age limit.

After making his way around the New Jersey bar scene,Springsteen released his first album in 1972. The rise to stardom was slow, however, as it was Springsteen’s third album “Born To Run” released in 1975 that earned him widespread notice. The album soared to number three on the Billboard Charts.

In 2012, Springsteen released his 17th studio album “Wrecking Ball” nearly 40 years after the release of his debut album “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.” Upon its release, “Wrecking Ball” went to number one on the Billboard Charts.

Springsteen has been known to play a generous set for fans when he performs live. In August, "The Boss" hit the four-hour mark during a show for the first time in his career. The two-time Grammy winner has graced the stage with some of rock’s biggest acts. Most recently, he appeared with former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney for a gig in London -– which was unfortunately shut down by authorities due to a noise ordinance.

This past weekend, he celebrated his birthday with a series of shows at MetLife stadium in New Jersey -- and his mom Adele joined him onstage to sing background vocals on "Twist and Shout" on Saturday night.
