Carol Lawrence Never Met A Ruffle She Didn't Like

American actress Carol Lawrence is best known for her musical theater performances. The mother of two starred in productions like "West Side Story," "Do I Hear A Waltz" and "Follies," to name a few. She also dabbled in film and TV, most notably on the soap opera "General Hospital" in the early 1990s. Although Lawrence is always noted for her acting abilities, it's next to impossible to ignore her quirky sense of style.

The Illinois native loves to be the center of attention and her outfits are a testament to that statement. Never one to shy away from ruffles, glitter or embellishment, Lawrence favors bright colors and spunky ensembles. Between her feather boas, oversized collars and cowboy boots, she never has a dull red carpet moment.

Today, in celebration of Ms. Lawrence's 80th birthday we take a look back at some of her most electic and fun style moments.
