The Unbeatable Views At Uruguay's Casapueblo Hotel Will Make You Want To Move In

One of Uruguay's biggest tourist draws sits 20 minutes from Punta del Este, a huge draw in its own right thanks to its stunning beaches and party scene.

In the 1950s, Carlos Páez Vilaró, who has been called the Uruguayan Picasso, bought property on Punta Ballena and built a 13-story museum and art gallery called Casapueblo to resemble a Mediterranean escape (seriously, check out how Grecian it looks below).

It's now also a 72-"apartment" hotel called Club Hotel Casapueblo. While the property gets mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, the views are simply unbeatable.
