LOOK: Gilded Beach Mansion Sells For BIG Bucks

Just a month after Yankee Alex Rodriguez sold his Miami Beach home for an eye-popping $30 million, another beach mansion has been snapped up for the same chunk of change.

Castello del Sol, an insane, gilded Mediterranean-style mansion on exclusive La Gorce Island, sold for $30 million on Monday, according to real estate duo, The Jills.

The 70,000-square-foot lot features four buildings with a guest house, staff quarters, and guard house in addition to the main house.

The house features hand painted ceilings, plenty of gold-leaf accents, a libray, a gym, a theater, a safe room, and a rooftop lounge. The grounds include a lagoon-style pool, tennis courts, and almost 400 feet of waterfront.

Forbes identities the new owner as Michael Lee Chin, a Canadian business magnate who recently ranked at 701 on the magazine's billionaires list.

And the sale of Castello del Sol ranks as the third most expensive single-family home sale in the history of Miami-Dade County, according to Forbes.
