Cedar Point's New Roller Coaster Has A Terrifying 214-Foot Drop

Scary beyond belief.

Six Flags just announced its newest, bone-chilling "Joker" coaster ride for 2016 and now Cedar Point is following suit. The amusement park will unleash its newest coaster called "Valravn" in 2016, and the ride isn't for the faint of heart.

Cedar Point says the 3,400 foot Valravn ride, named after a Danish legend, will be the "tallest, fastest, longest dive coaster in the world." According to a press release, a dive coaster is a special kind of ride that includes a moment of free-fall with a 90 degree drop. Translation: It'll be totally terrifying.

The 20-story ride promises to reach a top speed of 75 miles per hour as you twist and turn through precarious positions. Make sure you don't eat lunch before you try the ride, as the 214-foot free fall will likely do a number on your stomach.

Take a ride on the Valravn below, if you dare!
