Chicago Cubs Tickets Go On Sale Today

It's that time of year again. It's still cold, but we fool ourselves into thinking winter will be over soon. Last year's miserable baseball season is ancient history and our hopes and dreams--no matter how unrealistic--have been restored enough to purchase tickets to see 2010's Chicago Cubs.

Perhaps this year will be different for Cubs fans. The team has new owners--the Ricketts family--who will be greeting anxious ticket buyers outside of Wrigley Field Friday morning, the Chicago Tribune reports. They will also be wooing cold fans with coffee and Dunkin Donuts.

Starting at 8 a.m., fans at the Wrigley box office were able to buy up to 42 tickets. After 10 a.m. Friday, tickets can be purchased on the phone or online.
