A Chicago police officer was killed this afternoon in the South Chicago neighborhood along with another victim.
The police evidence technician was reportedly shot in the head at 1:30 p.m on the 8100 block of South Manistee Avenue, police said. He was processing the scene of a burglary inside a garage near there.
