Might wanna make it a burger night.

Perdue Foods is recalling more than 4,500 pounds of their frozen Applegate Farms chicken nuggets after some customers found servings containing small pieces of plastic.

The affected nuggets come in 8-ounce packages that were shipped to stores in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They have a "best before" date of 09/27/2016 and establishment number “P-2617” printed inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Customers should not eat the nuggets, but return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, Applegate says on its website.

During a similar scenario in 2010, bits of plastic prompted the company to recall more than 90,000 pounds of nuggets.

We think we'll give chicken a break for today.
