Chiquis is one step closer to fulfilling her mother’s dream to become the “Mexican-American Oprah Winfrey.”

On Tuesday, Jenni Rivera’s eldest daughter co-hosted “The View” and spoke openly about her mother’s autobiography and her own emotions as she read secrets that were until recently unbeknownst even to her.

“La Diva de la Banda’s” daughter was welcomed by the studio audience with energetic applause and a standing ovation. During the show, Chiquis seemed to move Barbara Walters and fellow hosts as she recounted her mother’s story and spoke about her own sexual abuse at the hands of her now imprisoned father.

The young Rivera confessed she had been unable to do more than skim her mother’s recently released autobiography “Unbreakable,” through which she discovered that her mother had been raped more than once.

After “The View” hosts discussed the Cleveland kidnapping victims’ recent testimonies, Chiquis opened up the four years of sexual abuse she suffered and the difficult task of testifying against her own father.

“It was very, very difficult. I was about 21 when I testified against him and it was just horrible bringing all those memories back,” Chiquis said before telling the hosts he is serving 31 years with no chance at parole.
