New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) appeared on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday and discussed -- with perhaps some degree of derision -- Sarah Palin's presidential aspirations.
Here's the dialogue:
FALLON: Do you think Sarah Palin could do it?
CHRISTIE: Be Vice-President?
FALLON: Be President.
CHRISTIE: [chuckles and smiles] Well, you know, who knows, Jimmy? It's an amazing world.
FALLON: Crazier things have happened?
CHRISTIE: I don't know, but it's an amazing world.
During his campaign for governor in 2009, Christie was quite open about saying that he wouldn't invite the recently retired Sarah Palin to stump for him in New Jersey.
