Chris Davis Home Run Streak Continues As Orioles Slugger Makes MLB History With RBI Tally

O's Slugger Continues Historic Start

Chris Davis is on fire.

The Orioles' slugger entered Friday on a three-game home run streak and extended it against Minnesota when the team needed it most. With the scored tied and bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning, Davis launched a grand slam home run to the left field seats on the first pitch he saw from Twins reliever Tyler Robertson.

With four homers in each of the first four games, Davis joined a list with just three other ballplayers on it.

Davis' 16 RBIs is also most ever through four games since the league started recording the stat in 1920, per Elias.

Through four games, Davis boasts a .600 batting average, .611 OBP and 1.600 SLG.
