Summer is fast approaching, and we have the beach on our mind. But what a bummer it would be to pick one laden with bacterial pollution.

Fear not. The environmental nonprofit Heal the Bay has released its annual beach pollution report. And according to the Santa Monica-based nonprofit, a whopping 93 percent of 445 beaches it monitored got an A or B summer grade.

That's because Southern California experienced well-below-average rainfall last winter, resulting in less urban runoff.

Click through the slideshow below to see the beaches in LA County that received an A grade.

But first, here are the So Cal beaches that made the top 10 "Beach Bummers" list, receiving F grades for their pollution levels:

Avalon, Catalina Island
Poche Beach, Orange County
Cabrillo Beach (harborside), LA County
Malibu Pier, LA County
Doheny State Beach, Dana Point
Redondo Beach Pier, LA County
Tijuana River Mouth, San Diego County

Now, time for some fun in the sun (not in any particular order):
