Colbert Ends His One-Sided Feud With Ahmadinejad (VIDEO)

Colbert Says Goodbye To Ahmadinejad

After Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the outgoing president of Iran, lost his re-election effort, Stephen Colbert reacted in the way that only made sense: By declaring himself the victor in the one-sided feud (that mostly consisted of Colbert failing to pronounce his name properly).

He also reveals where the tension between them came from: In 2006, he was bumped from a Newsweek cover story by Ahmadinejad when he said Iran was developing nuclear arms. But now, Colbert pointed out that Ahmadinejad is gone, Newsweek is gone, yet "The Colbert Report" is as good as it's ever been.
