While he waits to get signed, Colin Kaepernick is keeping his vow to continue to serve oppressed and disenfranchised communities.

On Monday, the football player reportedly donated two huge boxes of custom-made designer suits from his own closet.

Kaepernick gave away the donated suits for free outside of a parole office in Queens, in partnership with 100 Suits, according to The Washington Post. The organization works to fight reincarceration by providing free business attire to “formerly incarcerated individuals, homeless individuals, gang members and survivors of domestic violence” in search of new jobs.

In the wake of his controversial protest last year, in which he refused to stand for the national anthem, Kaepernick is still waiting to be signed by a new team after opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers.
