Community Health Network Misused $1.2 Million In Three Years: Audit (VIDEO)

WATCH: Nonprofit Misused $1.2 Million Over Three Years: Audit

Community Health Network is under the microscope as state auditors in Tennessee try to determine what happened to $1.2 million that appears to have been misspent or lost between 2007 and 2009.

A state audit charges that the former CEO for the health network, that supports small and rural nonprofits, misspent more than $80,000, according to the Tennessean.

Among other things, Ronald "Keith" Williams spent the money on $18,000 worth of unapproved bonuses, the audit said. Williams also apparently purchased a $1.4 million computer system that was never used, then went to work for the system's manufacturer.
