Noise-rock goddess and eternal provocateur Courtney Love is hitting the road -- which is great news for anyone living in the Northeast and disparaging news for anyone else because, as of now, the singer isn't traveling far from her New York home.

Love has announced a seven-stop tour that kicks off June 20 in Philadelphia and concludes just nine days later in Huntington, N.Y. It will mark her first time on the road since 2010, when she toured with the totally revamped Hole, whose other original members had split in 2002 to focus on solo projects.

It's likely Love will add additional dates to her skimpy calendar. The singer told Wonderland last month that her tour would continue through July and feature 70 dates on it. She also said she planned to release two singles in April via an iTunes exclusive that has yet to manifest. The Huffington Post reached out to Love's rep to find out when we can expect to hear those new songs but was told there are no updates "as of yet."

Love's tour dates include:

June 20: Philadelphia, PA - TLA *
June 21: Boston, MA - House of Blues *
June 22: Silver Spring, MD - The Fillmore *
June 26: Brooklyn, NY - Warsaw
June 27: Port Chester, NY - Capitol Theatre
June 28: Asbury Park, NJ - The Stone Pony Summer Stage
June 29: Huntington, NY - The Paramount *

* with Starred as the opening act

While Love, 48, has remained a significantly quieter presence than she was during the glory days of 1998's Grammy-nominated "Celebrity Skin," she hasn't totally fallen out of the spotlight. She's officially a solo woman now, as the Twitter account for her clothing line Never the Bride posted the following remark last November:

In January, Love took to the Sundance Film Festival stage for her first official solo performance, which was announced just 12 hours prior to its start. The concert started almost two hours late, but Love largely redeemed herself with an alt-rock cover of Jay-Z's "99 Problems."

Another gig that could be on the horizon for Love is judging a talent competition, which would come in addition to her current roles as the face of Yves Saint Laurent and a spokeswoman for e-cigarette company NJOY.

"I don’t know if it’s gonna happen or not, but they’re looking at me to judge one of these talent shows," she reportedly said. "Some people go on them and they have butterflies come out of their ass. I’m not saying I’m gonna go on and be c—, but I would just be myself. I’m not afraid to be honest. I always said I would never, ever, ever do one, but I’m not talking about the one judging dogs – it’s the other one, I don’t wanna say the name of it. If Ellen DeGeneres can be a judge, I mean, hello?"
