Craft Of The Day: Update Champagne Glasses With Pretty Gold Doilies

Drink Like A Queen With Faux-Gilded Glassware

In today's Craft Of The Day, we bring you another way to add some serious flair to plain glassware from Fabric Paper Glue. Apply gold doilies to quickly and easily dress up champagne glasses and make them look fancier. All it takes are a few coats of mod podge to attach them to the bottom of your stemware, producing a gilded appearance. Remember, the glue will make them water-resistant, but they do need to be washed by hand so the decorations stay intact.

We love how glamorous these glasses look, and it's such an easy addition that will make your kitchen or bar a little classier. The crafter used champagne coupes, but you can achieve this same gilded effect with martini glasses, water goblets or any other stemmed glasses you want, if you just cut the doilies to the correct size.
