Crystal Rojas Missing: California Girl's Mom, Patti Rohas, May Have Abducted Daughter To Nevada

Police Say Mother May Have Abducted Missing Girl

Investigators in northern California are searching for a woman who allegedly abducted her 3-year-old daughter from a daycare facility.

Employees at the children's center reported Crystal Rojas missing at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday, shortly after a visit from her mother, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. The suspect, 24 year old Patti Rojas, is not her child's legal guardian.

Authorities believe that Rojas made arrangements to bring her daughter to Nevada. They do not believe the girl is in danger, but do say that she is "at risk" because of her age, the Sacramento Bee reports.

According to the press release:

Crystal Rojas is approximately 3’4” tall, between 35-40 pounds, with blond hair and brown eyes. Her mother, Patti, is 5’3” tall and approximately 105 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Although both are believed to be in Nevada, anyone who knows the whereabouts of, or believes that they have had contact with these subjects is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
