It looks like Daddy Yankee will be able to afford a lot more bling this year. The hip-hop mogul just announced that he’s branching into the beverage biz and launching a tequila line called Cartel.

Ever the shrewd businessman, El Big Boss chose to kick off the company alongside his newest album Prestige. And so far, he’s definitely kept himself in the headlines.

DY is heavily Tweeting the Cartel brand and will be appearing at several meet and greets throughout the month. And for the record, he’s got a pretty interesting product on his hands.

El Cartel is described as ultra premium tequila and is reportedly made entirely of Mexican agave. And keeping with Daddy’s high-class style, every sip is blended with edible gold flakes.
