On Tuesday night's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart continued his preliminary "Indecision 2012" coverage, focusing again on the Republican party's lack of a clear candidate to go up against current President Barack Obama. In fact, things have gotten so bad that the GOP, inspired by "Jeopardy!" supercomputer Watson, have made their own candidate, a supercomputer programmed to be the perfect Republican named "Reagan OS 911."
With the fiscal conservativeness (and good looks) of Ronald Reagan, the conservative family values that Newt Gingrich lacks and a rags-to-riches back-story that would put Mike Huckabee to shame (he grew up the son of a poor adding machine, and his grandfather fought in Y2K), Reagan OS 911 truly is the GOP's best shot at a 2012 presidency.
...Or so it seemed. When Jon Stewart questioned him on his "birther" beliefs and pro-life stance, Reagan OS 911 found himself in some hot water. While he adamantly denied that Obama was a U.S. citizen, Stewart pointed out that Obama's parents were married in Hawaii on Feb. 2, 1961, and Obama was born on Aug. 4 of the same year, making his mother three months pregnant with him, in Hawaii, when she was married.
"Don't you see? Either Barack Obama's a U.S. citizen or fetuses don't count as people."
Watch the full clip to see what one of the most cohesive arguments against birthers does to the supercomputer who said that life begins at conception. Let's just say he might need some maintenance before continuing his campaign.
