David Dalrymple Arrested On Charges Of Sexual Exploitation Of Children

Homeland Security, ICE, And Others Team Up To Arrest Man For Child Pornography

A 65 year-old Johnston man was arrested Wednesday on two charges of sexual exploitation of children.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, the Colorado Springs and Johnstown police teamed up to arrest David Dalrymple for allegedly downloading and distributing photos of naked children 12 years old and under.

From the Greeley Tribune:

Attention was first called to Dalrymple by a Colorado Springs detective who monitored child pornography in peer-to-peer networks in Colorado and across the country.

Using the federal agencies, Johnstown Officer Joe Mendez reportedly tracked several of the national child porn networks to Dalrymple's computer. When questioned by officers, Dalrymple admitted to downloading some of the images, but said they were of girls 12 years and older, according to the Weld District Court affidavits.

Dalrymple is being held in the Weld County Jail.
