Mets Owner Donated $660 Thousand Poker Winnings To Charity

David Einhorn must have a pretty strong poker face.

Before he was the New York Mets minority owner, Einhorn donated the $660,000 he won in the World Series of Poker to charity back in 2006.

Einhorn finished 18th, and pledged ahead of time to give all of his winnings to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Last month, the hedge fund manager plunked down $200 million to become minority owner of the struggling Mets.

His new team got some encouraging news this week that ace pitcher Johan Santana could be back in the lineup by mid-July
