David Tutera: 'My Fair Wedding' Host Talks Season 5 (VIDEO)

WATCH: Wedding Planning Guru David Tutera Tells Brides: 'Take A Deep Breath'

The stress of planning a wedding can sometimes be enough to drive brides to the brink of despair. So it's no surprise that some wish for a fairy godmother (or father) to take the reigns when it comes to planning their Big Day.

Enter David Tutera: a wedding planning guru who, on his WeTV program, "My Fair Wedding," takes ho-hum, often barely-planned celebrations, and turns them into memorable extravaganzas in three weeks or less.

Tutera uses the theme or general idea of what the couple wants for their wedding -- such as red-carpet, Carnivale, or Zen garden -- to select (and often totally revamp) everything from the location to the floral arrangements to the wedding party's attire.

The 25-year veteran event planner recently stopped by HuffPost headquarters to talk wedding planning advice, budget challenges and season 5 of "My Fair Wedding." In this exclusive interview, he offers some of his best advice for couples: "Find two people in your life who you feel comfortable asking for advice," Tutera told HuffPost Weddings. "Don't start asking everybody for their advice on what you should do for your wedding, because then you become overwhelmed, confused and frustrated." Check out our interview above for more tips and tricks from this expert.

"My Fair Wedding" premieres Sunday Nov. 13 at 9 pm EST on WeTV.
