Dennis Farina will appear posthumously on "Family Guy."

The late actor is one of the celebrity guest voices announced for "Family Guy" Season 12, according to the Los Angeles Times. Other guest voices include "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage and "Breaking Bad's" Bryan Cranston.

Farina died at the age of 69 from a blood clot in his lung. The veteran film and TV actor known for playing cops on shows such as "Law & Order" and "Crime Story" was actually a police officer in real life before becoming an actor full time. According to his IMDB, Farina has a film in post-production -- "Authors Anonymous" -- and one filming titled "Lucky Stiff."

Besides "Family Guy," one of Farina's last TV roles was on Fox's "New Girl." On the comedy starring Zooey Deschanel, Farina played Nick's (Jake Johnson) father. “I feel very honored to have had the chance to meet, talk the Chicago Bears, and act with Dennis Farina,” Johnson said in the statement. “He is someone I will surely miss. I looked up to him personally and professionally. I am sad for his family, friends and his fans. We all will miss out."
