Design Ideas For Small Spaces: One Living Room, Four Ways (VIDEO)

Since it's the gathering point for pretty much everyone you could think of, it can be hard to settle on living room decor -- especially if you're living in a small space. But this video from The Nest shows that all you need are a few easy basics. They took three standard furniture pieces, then added small touches to create four different styles.

While we're no stranger to small-space decorating, we did pick up a few tips. Namely, that a scarf can sub for a throw, or that a blanket can act as an ersatz slipcover. There were also a few tips on using faux flowers...but we're still a little skeptical about whether that's a good move. (We've noticed that silk flowers tend to get very dusty, very quickly.)
