Tucked inside Vogue's August "Age Issue" -- a profile on Chicago boutique owner (and unofficial Michelle Obama stylist) Ikram Goldman. Goldman shares her philosophy on dressing for every decade, using HuffPost Style favorite Desirée Rogers and her daughter Victoria as mannequins.

Of a Prabal Gurung-clad Desirée, Goldman remarks, she "was a kid when I first started dressing her."

Goldman puts 21-year-old Victoria in a Thakoon tunic and skirt, adding, "A young girl should never look like she's wearing a $5,000 dress. She can wear an iconic piece that costs thousands of dollars, but she shouldn't look like it."

Take a look and Desirée and Victoria below and read the full feature in the August issue of Vogue, on newsstands now.
