Terence Young, MD is leaving a legacy in this world knowing that he’s truly making a difference in the lives of many through his business, “Young Phoenix Enterprises.”

Married to his wife, Yolanda for five years, his main purpose, while also being a successful OB GYN physician for the last twenty-one years, is to help people to understand and overcome the fears and challenges that are holding them back from their own personal success and fulfillment. Dr. Young helps bring clarity and self discovery of goals to his clients.

In 2011, after a huge personal “ah-ha moment”, Dr. Young recognized his wake-up call to the entrepreneurial world of network marketing. His focus is medically related products, one which monitors an individual’s health. He is also focused on creating emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing for those he has been supporting on their personal journeys. He believes that there is power in personal mentorship both for the mentor and the person being mentored. Dr. Young knows that anything worth having is worth working for and success of any kind doesn’t happen overnight.

Dr. Young’s practice includes other physicians and individuals from corporate America who may feel unfulfilled, overwhelmed, or “burned out” in their current profession and are looking for a happier, more productive life. Those who may feel trapped in their current position or simply don’t have a plan or strategy to move toward something that would be more fulfilling and those who are, or would like to become, entrepreneurs.

The medical field has become more corporate, which is changing the previously lucrative profession. New physicians entering the primary care fields of Adult Medicine, Family Practice or Pediatrics are finding it a challenge to pay off student debt of usually more than $250,000, a huge undertaking with the new corporate healthcare dynamic resulting in a lower paying model for the future. The idea that doctors today are financially set is a myth. Dr. Young strongly recommends investing and finding other streams of income that are in alignment with the profession as early on a possible.

Doing your very best in all areas of your life always pays off. In 2015, after only three years and being one of over one hundred physicians in the group, Dr. Young was awarded “Physician of the Year for Christie Clinic” of Illinois, surpassing his colleagues. He received his award in the shortest time of anyone in the group to be recognized as such.

During a recent trip to Phoenix, Dr. Young worked with Michael Bernoff, a mentor who has assisted him in developing his entrepreneurial skills and brand. Having discovered a better sense of who he is and what his purpose is, Dr. Young says he is “committed, confident, and serving others to help them discover their inner greatness and walk their own path of success.” He also has realized his inner potential to impact others on a grander scale with his ability to inspire and educate. Through his work with Bernoff and another personal mentor, John Hui, Dr. Young is developing programs, a new website and has accomplished more in two months working with his mentor than he had in the last two years. Dr. Young says, “There is great value in mentorship!”

When ask what he does to pick himself up at the end of a difficult day, Dr. Young says, “I remember my ‘WHY’, my reason for success. Failure is not an option. I have surrounded myself with mastermind groups and mentors who continue to push me forward when times get rough and challenging. When I feel like quitting, I remember that in the end, my outcome will influence so many lives for the better, and I simply won’t let them down. I strive to be a man who serves and inspires millions of people to unlock their inner potential.”

With the goal of transitioning to full time entrepreneurship, Dr. Young is presenting webinars, developing programs, attending and speaking at live events and conferences, coaching others, and traveling. His upcoming product, The Doctorpreneur’s Wellness System, will debut March 1.
