The White House’s revolving door spun once again on Wednesday.
President Donald Trump announced Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin’s termination from his post on Twitter:
I am pleased to announce that I intend to nominate highly respected Admiral Ronny L. Jackson, MD, as the new Secretary of Veterans Affairs....
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 28, 2018
....In the interim, Hon. Robert Wilkie of DOD will serve as Acting Secretary. I am thankful for Dr. David Shulkin’s service to our country and to our GREAT VETERANS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 28, 2018
Trump plans to replace Shulkin with the presidential physician, Adm. Ronny L. Jackson.
Shulkin, who was investigated over ethics violations involving a trip to Europe, is the latest top-ranking official to depart Trump’s administration in recent weeks.
It’s a fact that fellow tweeters were quick to mock:
does Donald Trump genuinely think he is supposed to eliminate someone each week

We'll never forget the way he put family first by getting taxpayers to cover his wife’s airfare for an 11-day European trip. pic.twitter.com/QOwKwvwC0X
When I heard that @realDonaldTrump was firing Shulkin and nominating his personal physician as head of the @DeptVetAffairs, I immediately assumed it was this guy pic.twitter.com/CBNtuatKil

Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin is out, fired by twitter.
Funny how Trump only hires the BEST people, then fires them to hire other people, who by definition cannot be the best. Maybe he doesnt know what that word means.
