Dorothy Grace Marie Maraglino Arrested In Connection With Brittany Killgore Murder

Woman Arrested In Connection With Marine's Dead Wife

A third person has been apprehended in connection with the alleged murder of a Marine's wife in California.

Dorothy Grace Marie Maraglino was arrested by San Diego County Sheriff’s homicide detectives on Thursday night as part of an ongoing investigation into the death of Brittany Killgore, the 22-year-old wife of Lance Cpl. Cory Killgore.

A San Diego County Sheriff's Office news release did not mention what role law enforcement officials believe Maraglino, 36, played in the alleged murder.

"No further information will be released at this time as the investigation continues," Sheriff Bill Gore said in the statement.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service assisted in the arrest, according to the statement.

Suspects Jessica Lynn Lopez and Louis Ray Perez were arrested and charged with the alleged killing last month after Lopez's suicide note -- which she did not act upon -- led police to Killgore's body, according to the sheriff's office. Both suspects have pleaded not guilty, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Prosecutors told the AP that Killgore filed for divorce three days before she went missing, when she was supposed to go out with Perez and another unidentified friend. That is the last time she was seen.

Investigators allegedly found a knife with Killgore's blood on it in Perez's car.

Perez's attorney, Jeff Reichert, said Lopez's suicide note shows "very, very clearly" that she killed Killgore and that his client was not involved, according to the AP.
