Police Find Pacifier Filled With Ecstasy On West Side

Police found a child’s pacifier filled with ecstasy pills in a vehicle involved in a police chase Saturday night, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Police acting on a tip saw the pacifier in the unattended vehicle of Gregory Gay, 20, parked on Congress Parkway in the Austin neighborhood Saturday night, the Chicago Tribune reports. When questioned by police, Gay allegedly took off, throwing the pacifier out the window and crashing into a parked car. Upon his arrest, police also found a .22 caliber handgun the suspect's vehicle.

Gay, of the 300 block of South Central Avenue, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, and is being held on $30,000 bail.
