Habemus papam, la buena nueva, el mundo alejado de Dios esta pronto a terminar, no se admiten las esperas, la elección del cardenal argentino Jorge Bergoglio, como el papa número 266, hoy Papa Francisco, Francisco primero, o Francisco Único. Es una bendición en los tiempos venideros; se ven venir con esta designación vientos de cambios hacia una paz duradera, se necesita de una iglesia en movimiento, extra muros, no encerrada, que camine con amor fraternal frente a los desafíos del siglo XXI, el siglo de la comunicación inalámbrica.
Lo dramático hoy, es como el secularismo cada día mas vez mina la fe cristiana, la misión del papa Francisco, es en su condición de jesuita , que los fieles vuelvan definitivamente a sus orígenes, la familia, una evangelización con fuerza que disponga de nuevas y novedosas herramientas. Han pasado más de quinientos años de fe en América , pero de qué manera, nunca fue tomada en cuenta en la conversión , la manera de acercarse a Dios de los aborígenes de América, ni de los millares de africanos traídos a estas tierras, es que acaso no tenían derecho a amarlo de otra manera, esa semilla nunca murió, de allí que el sincretismo pulula por América, son raíces no resueltas por la disociación entre los encargados de llevar el mensaje del evangelio y los fieles, hasta ahora lo único respetado ha sido el sacramento del bautismo, quizás más por ser un rito que elimina la herejía, más una protección contra el mal de ojo que la fe en Cristo, la mayoría de las veces impuesto por sus progenitores, los demás sacramentos pasan a ser secundarios, confesión, comunión, extremaunción, etc.
Los caminos divergen porque últimamente la iglesia no da confianza, sumando esto a los escándalos de pederastia, y financieros, soberbia que termina en ambición. No es solo el mensaje solidario por los medios de comunicación, ni las multitudinarias misas papales, o la dadiva, es algo mucho más poderoso, lo que se debe difundir con humildad la palabra fraternal, sincera del señor casi de viva voz, entre todos, no darnos la paz al final de la misa de forma hipócrita.
Volviendo al tema del nombre escogido, Francisco, sabían que Francisco I, fue rey de Francia, en plena efervescencia del descubrimiento, dio trabajo al genio de Leonardo da Vinci, humanista, mecenas de las artes, hijo de Lorenzo el magnífico, apoyo a León X, papa N 217, hace exactamente 500 años, (1513-1521) cuando las relaciones eran críticas entre iglesia y estado, mecenas de las artes, hijo de Lorenzo el magnífico, esta causalidad significa mucho, por los retos que implica para el nuevo papa un cambio de visión, se necesitan acciones contundentes, no beatificaciones, más de lo mismo, es articular una nueva estructura, la iglesia más horizontal, más cercana a los fieles, pues la comunicación global así lo exige, se siente que el vicario de Cristo lo sabe y lo pondrá en práctica con mucha más energía y rapidez de lo que se piensa.
Latinoamérica está sumergida en una pobreza no merecida producto de no haberse encontrado consigo misma, peleas fraternales, con un mismo Jesús de por medio, inentendible, guerras intestinas por la tierra, resentimientos, diferencias sociales muy marcadas, y sobre todo una falta de política coherente, nos toca remar todos en el mismo sentido para la búsqueda de la paz y la felicidad de nuestro pueblo.
Colocarse como marca vaticana el nombre de Francisco, inspirado en el monje mendigante Francisco de Axis, tal como lo expreso en sus primeras palabras, fue un acierto, obedece a poner la opulencia de lado, la conducta del desapego, casi budista, es la manera de detener la creciente secularización, la vida material que solo llena de angustia del hombre, un jesuita en Roma, es decir un misionero del siglo XXI será tántrico, conciliar la naturaleza divina (theos) con la humana (andros), difícil tarea.
Solo con un cáliz de barro, moldeado por el hombre y elevado para consagrar la sangre de Jesús podremos lograrlo.
